Creamery signsJust five minutes’ walk from the centre of Hawes, the Creamery offers self-guided tours, a museum, and a shop with as much cheese as anyone could ever need.

There is also a fully licensed restaurant.

The Creamery is half way between Hawes and Gayle Mill, making it easy to see both on the same visit.

Although the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes has a full size train in the car park, rail services have not yet returned to Hawes.  But you can take the Wensleydale Railway as far as Redmire and from there travel further up the dale on the Vintage Bus on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from Redmire to Hawes, giving you over three hours in the town - time to visit several attractions and eat lunch.

The Creamery has the iconic website address of www.wensleydale.co.uk!
